Privacy policy
TodayGoldRate is a static website hosted on Cloudflare. We have no user accounts and no advertising; we use Google Analytics to measure how the site is used. This page explains the limited data that is processed when you visit and who processes it.
Data we do not collect
- We do not offer accounts, logins, newsletters or comments.
- We do not run advertising or sell or share data with advertisers.
- The calculators run entirely in your browser. Numbers you type into them are not sent to us or stored.
Analytics (Google Analytics)
We use Google Analytics 4 (measurement ID G-ER32WPJJH8) to count visits and see which pages are useful. Google Analytics sets first-party cookies (such as _ga) and collects information such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from your IP address, device and browser type, referring site and time on page. Google Analytics 4 does not log or store full IP addresses. We use these statistics only in aggregate, to improve the site; we do not use them to identify you or for advertising. Google processes this data under its own privacy policy. You can opt out with Google's Analytics opt-out browser add-on or by blocking cookies in your browser.
Live price widgets (TradingView)
Live prices and charts are provided by embedded widgets from TradingView. To keep pages light, these widgets are not loaded when a page first opens. They load after your first interaction with the page (scrolling, moving the mouse, tapping or pressing a key) or when you click "Load live price". At that point your browser connects to TradingView's servers, which receive your IP address, browser information and the page you are on, as with any embedded content. TradingView may set cookies or use similar technologies under its own privacy and cookie policies, which we do not control. If you do not interact with a page, the widgets do not load.
Hosting and CDN logs (Cloudflare)
The site is hosted and delivered by Cloudflare, Inc. Like any web host, Cloudflare automatically processes technical request data, such as IP address, requested URL, date and time, browser user agent and referring page, to deliver pages and protect the site against abuse. These logs are kept by Cloudflare for a limited period under its own privacy policy. We do not use them to identify individual visitors.
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you write. We use it only to reply and to fix any issue you report, and we do not add you to any mailing list or share your message with third parties, except where required by law.

Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data held about you. Because we hold almost none, the main case is email correspondence; contact us and we will deal with your request. For data processed by Google Analytics, TradingView or Cloudflare, you can also contact those companies directly.
Children
The site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect data from them.
Changes
If our practices change, for example if advertising is introduced, this page will be updated and the review date at the top will change. Questions: contact@todaygoldrate.org.
