Gold prices on this site are indicative. They show what gold is worth at international market prices (plus import duty on Indian pages), not what a particular jeweller, bank or buyer will charge or pay. Nothing on the site is financial advice.
Indicative prices
Every rate is calculated from live market quotes for gold and currencies, multiplied by fixed weight and purity factors. The figures are not quotes from any dealer and are not prices at which you can trade. The method is set out on the methodology page.
Local prices differ
What you pay or receive locally will usually differ from our figures because of:
- dealer and jeweller premiums or discounts, and buy-back deductions;
- sales tax, VAT or GST, and in some countries import duty not reflected in our tables;
- making charges, wastage and stone charges on jewellery;
- local market rates (such as association or sarafa rates) that are set independently of international parity;
- the time of day a shop sets its board rate.
Data provided as-is
Market data is supplied by TradingView and its data partners and displayed as provided. It may be delayed, interrupted, revised or occasionally wrong, and outside market hours it shows the last available price. We do not guarantee its accuracy, completeness or timeliness.
